Children’s Ministry

We love our kids! Our children’s ministry works hard to teach our children the love of Christ in ways that are relevant to their development. We work with standard curriculum so that each Sunday is a consistent experience. Children are dismissed after the worship time for age-appropriate classes each week, except for the first Sunday of the month, which is “Family Sunday,” and children remain in the service with their families (nursery remains open every Sunday).

BOOM!
Summer Break! BOOM will resume in September.
This is a mid-week service specifically geared toward children grades K-5th. BOOM is not only for the kids at Cornerstone, but also for kids in and around the Sheridan community.
What kids can expect:
There is a large group time that consists of kid-friendly worship, a short lesson and much more. After the large group time the kids separate into small groups with kids their own age and focus more on the lesson with games, activities, prayer time and snacks.
Purpose of BOOM:
BOOM stands for “Bring On Our Mission.” If we’re Christians than we all have a mission from God to bring His kingdom to the world (Matthew 28:16-20). We desire kids to know God and to make him known.
