Children's Ministry - Kindergarden to 5th grade

We love our kids! Our children's ministry works hard to teach our children the love of Christ in ways that are relevant to their development. We work with standard curriculums so that each Sunday is a consistent experience. Children are dismissed after the worship time for age-appropriate classes each week, except for the first Sunday of the month, which is "Family Sunday", and children remain in the service with their families. Nursey The nursery is available during our service for infants through two years. Cornerstone Kid's Church Pre-school ages 3-5, and first through 5th grade classes learn from interactive Biblical lessons in a practical and fun environment. This is a mid-week service specifically geared toward elementary level children in 1st through 5th grade. BOOM is not only for the kids at Cornerstone, but also for kids in and around the Sheridan community. During the school year this service takes place in the sanctuary at Cornerstone Church on Wednesday nights at 6:30 PM and runs until 8:00 PM. What kids can expect: There is a large group time that consists of kid-friendly worship, a short lesson and much more. After the large group time the kids separate into small groups with kids their own age and focus more on the lesson with games, activities, prayer time and snacks. Purpose of BOOM: BOOM stands for “Bring On Our Mission.” If we're Christians than we all have a mission from God to bring His kingdom to the world (Matthew 28:16-20). We desire kids to know God and to make him known.
