The Willson Family has invited the Cornerstone Family to a Hay Ride and Chili Cook-Off at their farm!
There will be a hay ride, lawn games, farm animals, music a campfire and fall photo area.
What to Bring:

- Your best chili (and the toppings to go with it) or a side item or dessert (think cinnamon rolls, breads, etc.)
- A camping chair
Cornerstone will provide some shredded cheese, tortilla chips and drinks.
If the weather isn’t good, the event will be moved to October 15th. If the weather isn’t good that day, then the Chili Cook-off will take place downstairs at Cornerstone.

We have an assortment of projects that should be done this fall before the cold arrives. Some of these are small projects and some are much bigger. If you’d like to tackle any of these projects before our work day, just let Cody know. Here is a partial list of the fall projects.
- Take care of hoses/sprinklers
- Clean outside storm drain
- Paint shed
- Trim tall grass by mailbox, behind building, & along driveway
- Touch up interior paint
- Clean up and winterize mowers
- Prep snow blower
- Shovel/rake out dirt in back corner of buildings
- Stain playground fence
- Paint exterior emergency exit doors
- Repaint purple walls in foyer

Today’s Speaker: MATTHEW SLEETH, MD
Matthew Sleeth, MD, a former emergency room physician and chief of the hospital medical staff, resigned from his position to teach, preach, and write about faith, God, and the Bible. Dr. Sleeth has spoken at more than one thousand churches, campuses, and events, including serving as a monthly guest preacher at the Washington National Cathedral.
Recognized by Newsweek as one of the nation’s most influential Christian leaders, Dr. Sleeth is the executive director of Blessed Earth and author of numerous articles and books.
He lives in Lexington, Kentucky, with Nancy, his wife of more than four decades. Their grown children serve with their families in full-time parish ministry and as medical missionaries in Africa.

Kid’s Church: Kids age 4 through 5th grade will be released for Children’s Church at the end of the praise & worship time, except for the first Sunday of each month which is Family Sunday.
BOOM: BOOM is a mid-week kids program for kids age 4 to 5th grade on most Wednesdays at 6:30 PM. Check the Facebook group for schedule details. BOOM will resume in September
NURSERY: The nursery is open every Sunday during the second service (newborn-age 3).
