Food Box Pick Up
Food boxes will be at Cornerstone again this coming Thursday. We need some volunteers to help fill the boxes and load them as cars drive up. If you’d like to volunteer, please be here by 9 AM.
Building Addition Updates
Thank you for your continuing support!
This addition will provide a children’s ministry wing, a fellowship hall, improved office arrangement, and additional meeting space.
10/10 Update: Just a few projects left! The roof should be complete very soon. Siding is done. Interior trim is in progress. And the elevator is due to arrive in the next two weeks! The elevator install is a two week process. Afterwards, we will have a bit of sheetrock, paint, and trim to finish up. Almost there!
We would love to have more volunteers to help with a few projects. Contact Cody for details.

Kid’s Church: Kids age 4 through 5th grade will be released for Children’s Church at the end of the praise & worship time, except for the first Sunday of each month which is Family Sunday.
The theme for October is: “Custom Creation”
BOOM: BOOM is a mid-week kids program for kids age 4 to 5th grade. They meet on these Wednesdays at 6 PM.
NURSURY: The nursery is open every Sunday during the second service.

We will have a family dinner and packing party for Operation Christmas Child on November 7 at 5 PM. Bring your favorite soup, bread, or dessert and items for the shoeboxes. If you would rather, pick up a box or two from the foyer and bring those filled and ready along with a $9 shipping fee. Additional details are available in the foyer.

A Food Bank of Wyoming mobile pantry truck will be in our community providing food assistance to community members.

Foundation Stones Classes
Foundation Stones is a class offered quarterly as a basic introduction to Cornerstone Church. Since we have members from many different church backgrounds, this class was designed to clearly explain who and what our church is. Four basic areas are covered in this class:
- OUR SALVATION – through Christ
- OUR STATEMENT – about who we are as a Church Family
- OUR STRUCTURE – designed to help us fulfill our purpose
- OUR STRATEGY – about how we fulfill our purpose as a Church Family
Our next Foundation Stones class will be September 19 at 4 PM. Please let us know if you plan to attend.

Going Beyond Simulcast
Join us for the 2021 Going Beyond Simulcast with Priscilla Shirer, an event that brings women together for a day of powerful teaching, worship with Anthony Evans, and prayer.

Women of the Word Fall 2021 Session
We believe there’s never been a more important time to be equipped to get serious, specific, and strategic in the discipline of prayer. Join us for ARMOR OF GOD by Priscilla Shirer, a 7 week in-depth study, followed by some specific strategies in prayer with FERVENT.
Building Addition Updates
Thank you for your continuing support!
This addition will provide a children’s ministry wing, a fellowship hall, improved office arrangement, and additional meeting space.
6/12 Update: We are getting closer and closer. Doors are getting installed, trim is going up, emergency stairs are complete, shingles are going on the roof, and the new bathrooms are nearly ready! We finally received more information about the elevator install and have a tentative date in roughly two months.
We would love to have more volunteers to help with a few projects. Contact Cody for details.
Upcoming Projects:
- Touch up paint
- Scrape popcorn in offices & downstairs classroom
- General clean up
- Fall cleanup – outside
- Split rail fence between parking lot and playground
- Wash/clean windows
- Power wash concrete (sidewalks)
- Clean walls and paint mechanical rooms
- Collect rocks in front field and around back

Weekly Events
Cornerstone Kids
Kid’s Church: Kids age 4 through 5th grade will be released for Children’s Church at the end of the praise & worship time, except for the first Sunday of each month which is Family Sunday.
The theme for September is: “Ready for Launch: Initiative”
BOOM: BOOM is a mid-week kids program for kids age 4 to 5th grade. They meet on these Wednesdays at 6 PM. New fall schedule is coming soon!
NURSURY: The nursery is open every Sunday during the second service.
