Foundation Stones
If you are interested in learning more about Cornerstone, becoming a member, and serving in our ministries, please plan to attend our Foundation Stones class on Sunday, January 21 at 4 PM in the Coffee Shop. You’ll visit with Pastor Tony and one of our church elders about our past, present, and future. Please let us know if you plan to attend so we can give you some materials in advance to preview.
Baptism
If you are following Jesus and would like to take the steps to make a public proclamation of faith through baptism, please let us know. We would love to hear your story and to celebrate this new life with you! We are planning a baptism service on January 28.
End of the Year Giving
We are so grateful for the faithful and consistent giving of the Cornerstone family! As the end of the year approaches, we would ask for you to prayerfully consider contributing to the loan for the recent building addition. This addition has been an amazing aid in ministry. It is fairly normal for us to have 50 kids in the Cornerstone Kids wing for Children’s Church (nursery-elementary). We have already served countless meals in the fellowship hall. We host events big and small, including most recently the Art of Marriage Conference. We are making every effort to pay this down as quickly as possible while we continue to do the ministry God has called Cornerstone to do.

Day of Prayer
Pastors United in Christ is calling for a day of prayer regarding the war in Israel and the surrounding region. This will occur Wednesday, October 25. We are inviting everyone to attend the normal PUIC prayer time at 8:30 AM at Cornerstone (in the sanctuary instead of the coffee shop). Also, there will be an evening prayer time at Calvary Baptist at 6 PM. Both of these prayer times are open to the community. If you are unable to attend either of these times we still encourage you to pray and fast on that day. If it works better for you to meet at a different time and place, that’s great too. Our heart to ask for the Lord’s intervention in this time of chaos, praying in one accord.

Operation Christmas Child
It’s time to start thinking about Operation Christmas Child! There were some things left over from last year and a few of us have been collecting things this year. Here is the updated list for some ideas of things you might pick up for our packing party. As of right now we’re tentatively planning our packing party for November 15th at 6 pm.

Kid’s Church: Kids age 4 through 5th grade will be released for Children’s Church at the end of the praise & worship time, except for the first Sunday of each month which is Family Sunday.
BOOM: BOOM is a mid-week kids program for kids age 4 to 5th grade on most Wednesdays at 6:30 PM. Check the Facebook group for schedule details. BOOM will resume in September
NURSERY: The nursery is open every Sunday during the second service (newborn-age 3).
