Foundation Stones
May 15, 4 PM
Foundation Stones is a class offered periodically as a basic introduction to Cornerstone Church. Since we have members from many different church backgrounds, this class was designed to clearly explain who and what our church is. Four basic areas are covered in this class:
- OUR SALVATION – through Christ
- OUR STATEMENT – about who we are as a Church Family
- OUR STRUCTURE – designed to help us fulfill our purpose
- OUR STRATEGY – about how we fulfill our purpose as a Church Family

Faith Scholarship for High School Seniors
Sheridan County YMCA Faith Scholarship
Part of the Y mission is to support the physical, emotional and spiritual growth of youth in our community. We believe that having a strong spiritual foundation is crucial to a young adult’s abilities to combat anxiety and demonstrate resilience during the challenges of early adulthood. Today’s youth need all the support we can give them. Knowing God is always with them will give them hope in troubled times.
This scholarship is intended to incentivize attending church or church youth programs with the hope that it will result in habit forming participation in a faith based community that will then sustain into adulthood.
Requirements:
- Attend 10 weeks of any church service or church youth group (one service maximum per week) your senior year of high school.
- Turn into the YMCA front desk a signed and completed log of your attendance with your completed application.
- Possibly be willing to share how the experience has impacted you.
Open to all high school seniors in Sheridan County. No essay, test score or gpa requirements.
Students will have from November 1st of their senior year till October 31st of their first college semester to complete their log. Checks will be issued in December to the college the student is currently enrolled.

Faith Scholarship for High School Seniors
Sheridan County YMCA Faith Scholarship

Legacy Baby Bottle Fundraiser
Change for Life! Join other churches in the Sheridan and Johnson county area to fill baby bottles with loose change. This easy fundraiser raises approximately $20,000 for Legacy every year.
Please return the baby bottles as soon as possible. Thanks!
Building Addition Updates
Thank you for your continuing support!
This addition will provide a children’s ministry wing, a fellowship hall, improved office arrangement, and additional meeting space.
1/22 Update: The elevator is currently being installed! We are nearly complete! After they are done, we have a few small areas to touch up.
