The Robson Academy of Sheridan is a new Christian middle school that is coming to Sheridan this fall. They will be holding a charity auction at Whitney Park on Sunday, August 1st at 6 PM. Cornerstone church will be putting together two baskets for their silent auction. If you’d be interested in donating items or funds for our baskets, please sign up in the foyer after the service!
Volunteer Survey
As we work on returning to “normal” after a year of radical change, we are looking to rebuild our ministry teams. For a quick overview of volunteer opportunities and an easy way to let us know what you’re interested in, use this survey. Perhaps you are interested in something that isn’t on the list – give us a call or shoot us a message! And we can’t talk about volunteers without acknowledging all the current and past volunteers! Thank you!!
Building Addition Updates
Thank you for your continuing support!
This addition will provide a children’s ministry wing, a fellowship hall, improved office arrangement, and additional meeting space.
6/12 Update: We are getting closer and closer. Doors are getting installed, trim is going up, emergency stairs are complete, shingles are going on the roof, and the new bathrooms are nearly ready! We finally received more information about the elevator install and have a tentative date in roughly two months.
We would love to have more volunteers to help with a few projects. Contact Cody for details.

- Scrape popcorn in offices & downstairs classroom
- General clean up
- Spring cleanup – outside
- Split rail fence between parking lot and playground
- Wash/clean windows
- Power wash concrete (sidewalks)

Kid’s Church: Kids age 4 through 5th grade will be released for Children’s Church at the end of the praise & worship time, except for the first Sunday of each month which is Family Sunday.
The theme for June/July is: “Courage”
BOOM: BOOM is a mid-week kids program for kids age 4 to 5th grade. They meet on these Wednesdays at 6 PM: April 7, April 21, May 5, May 19 (family BBQ).
NURSURY: The nursery is open every Sunday during the second service.

5/27 Update: More and more details are getting finished up. The interior doors and hardware finally arrived. Concrete work is partially complete for the emergency exit steps. Progress was made on the siding. And interior trim is going in. Want to hear a construction joke? We’re still working on it. 🙂

Summer Service Schedule starts May 30
Starting Memorial Day Weekend, we will change our Sunday worship schedule to have just one service at 9:30 AM. Nursery will be available every week. Cornerstone Kids will meet as normal (kids are in the main service on Family Sunday, the first Sunday of each month).

5/9 Update: We’ve been hard at work finishing up some details past week. We have installed more counters, trim, wall decor, interior windows (office area) and completed some outside cleanup. The list of remaining projects is growing shorter. Some of the big projects left include doors, elevator, east emergency exit, siding, and roof.

Summer Service Schedule starts May 30
Starting Memorial Day Weekend, we will change our Sunday worship schedule to have just one service at 9:30 AM. Nursery will be available every week. Cornerstone Kids will meet as normal (kids are in the adult service on Family Sunday, the first Sunday of each month).

Volunteer Survey
As we work on returning to “normal” after a year of radical change, we are looking to rebuild our ministry teams. For a quick overview of volunteer opportunities and an easy way to let us know what you’re interested in, use this survey. Perhaps you are interested in something that isn’t on the list – give us a call or shoot us a message! And we can’t talk about volunteers without acknowledging all the current and past volunteers! Building Addition Updates
Thank you for your continuing support!
This addition will provide a children’s ministry wing, a fellowship hall, improved office arrangement, and additional meeting space.
5/9 Update: We’ve been hard at work finishing up some details past week. We have installed more counters, trim, wall decor, interior windows (office area) and completed some outside cleanup. The list of remaining projects is growing shorter. Some of the big projects left include doors, elevator, east emergency exit, siding, and roof.
We would love to have more volunteers to help with a few projects. Contact Cody for details.
Upcoming Projects:
- Scrape popcorn in offices & downstairs classroom
- General clean up
- Spring cleanup – outside
- Split rail fence between parking lot and playground
- Wash/clean windows
- Power wash concrete (sidewalks)
- Clean walls and paint mechanical rooms
- Collect rocks in front field and around back

Cornerstone Kids
Kid’s Church: Kids age 4 through 5th grade will be released for Children’s Church at the end of the praise & worship time, except for the first Sunday of each month which is Family Sunday.
The theme for April is: “Reconnect”
BOOM: BOOM is a mid-week kids program for kids age 4 to 5th grade. They meet on these Wednesdays at 6 PM: April 7, April 21, May 5, May 19 (family BBQ).
NURSURY: The nursery is open every Sunday during the second service.

National Day of Prayer – May 6
First Baptist will host a community prayer event on Thursday at 6 PM and everyone is invited.

4/25 Update: While there are plenty of projects left (trim, doors, handrails, patch work, etc.), we are able to start using all the new space!
This addition will provide a children’s ministry wing, a fellowship hall, improved office arrangement, and additional meeting space.
